Accounting System with an Online Store in One Month: The lpkelektro.cz Case Study, Czech Republic
On May 30, a Czech company contacted us with an unusual business: they sell household appliances that customers legally return within 15 days. They have a huge selection, a distribution center, and warehouses scattered throughout the Czech Republic.
Task
Create a comprehensive accounting system for the entire enterprise and link it to a fully-fledged online platform. Additionally, automate retail sales, set up in-depth analytics, and connect retail equipment such as barcode scanners and printers.
Project timeline
- 05.06 — the technical specifications were approved.
- 14.06 — completely completed the most complex accounting module.
- June 25 — The online platform was completed; intensive testing was ongoing throughout this time.
- 30.06 — the customer signed the certificate of completion of work.
What is the secret of speed?
I have to give credit to the client company's management. They responded to any of our questions within literally an hour, arranged meetings with their accountants and salespeople, delved into every technical detail, and even showed up to work on Saturdays. Honestly, without such client engagement, achieving such a volume in a month, even with a strong team, would have been incredibly difficult.

Is retail equipment connected—scanners, label printers, cash registers?
Yes. The project automates retail outlets: barcode scanners and printers work directly with the accounting system.
What about multiple warehouses?
Accounting is maintained for each warehouse and distribution center; inventory balances, movements, and shipments are visible in a single system.
