TrendTraffic: A Smart Video Editor for TikTok and Instagram — HeyGen, Google Flow, NotebookLM, and How to Pay 4x Less for Tokens

We've completed a "Smart Video Editor" project for TikTok and Instagram — trendtraffic.pro. In short, we've combined everything you'd typically do via command line prompts in Claude Code with MCP into a convenient visual interface and added automatic analysis and publishing.

Why tokens have become 4 times cheaper

We showed the first version of the interface, designed strictly according to the specifications, in the first post about the project. After a deep dive, an important detail emerged: the pricing structure of AI service APIs means that generating videos and avatars through the API is several times more expensive than the same operations through subscription-based user interfaces. Therefore, the Chrome extension works with HeyGen, Google Flow, and NotebookLM just like a human would—in a browser—while the editor only orchestrates the process. The result: the same result with approximately four times less token costs.

Who needs this?

For brands and bloggers who publish 5-20 videos per week, the editor selects trends based on the audience, assembles the video with the AI avatar, and publishes it themselves. The owner focuses on the content, not the editing.
